NANOFORCE TECHNOLOGY Ltd is a UK-based company established as part of the UK Micro and Nanotechnology Network to develop processing technologies for nanomaterials.

Nanoforce Technology is a world leading advanced materials processing company in the development of advanced polymers and composites and high performance ceramics with a focus on the development of processing routes that can be commercialised by industry. This core competence distinguishes the company from other research and development-based companies in materials as NANOFORCE works to link the gap between R&D and industrial applications.

NANOFORCE provides solutions to clients’ needs in technologies related to the polymer processing, ceramics processing, coating, printing, electrospinning, encapsulation, computer modelling. Its work is supported by collaborative research projects and industrial contract research. NANOFORCE is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Queen Mary University of London and a spin-out from its School of Engineering and Materials. It is based at the QMUL campus and has access to its excellent facilities. NANOFORCE provides a stimulating and industrial focused environment for the experience and training of researchers.

It provides them with integrated experience in business and project management and training in advanced processing technologies. The company has complementary technology in the field of ceramic nanomaterials with specialist processing such as spark plasma sintering (SPS) and polymer nanocomposites, including electrospinning. NANOFORCE is working with several companies and organisations to develop new processing for structural and functional ceramics and polymer composites. This includes ferroelectrics, thermoelectrics, ceramic-carbon nanotube and graphene composites.
